Description
Beaver Lake is a great place to have a picnic lunch and avoid the crowd. The lake is very quiet, and there is wildlife everywhere, but no bears or any other intimidating animals. On the day we were there, it was a great scene especially during an eclipse. We were able to take it all in that day with a lot of sunshine and the few lazy passing clouds.
Half-Day Hike: This trail was a bit of a challenge to keep on the path or at least it was at the time of year when we were there. The summer had a lot of rain and areas of flooding, so a few of the trails were washed out, but you can easily navigate back onto the trail if you keep an eye out. The lake is located off of the Beaver Lake Trail #2109.
