This area requires a backcountry permit (a couple dollars at the Visitors Center), or join a ranger-led guided tour - which is highly recommended and roughly $10/person.
Expect some rock scrambling and jumping around as you explore this incredibly complex maze of sandstone wall, fins, and arches.
Late afternoon and sunset are especially good times to visit (it's cooler, and the colors are amazing).
Short Hike: Short walk from the Fiery Furnace Viewpoint
Family Friendly: Rock scrambles, and if you're with a ranger, you'll get stories, history, and a geography lesson.
