Description

Chasm Lake is one of the most beautiful high alpine lakes in RMNP. Set in a stunning cirque below Mt. Lady Washington (13,281') and Longs Peak (14,259') at an elevation of ~11,900 feet, Chasm Lake would make a giant feel small.

Also towering over the lake, part of Longs Peak is The Diamond, an uber-famous climbing route and stunning geologic feature.

All-Day Hike: A strenuous +8-mile round-trip hike. Follow the guidance offered in the Chasm Lake Hike.
