The park's most easily accessible thermal area, see steam vents and boiling mudpots alongside views of the valley beyond via a sidewalk lined with interpretive signs. It's impossible to miss its white and orange sands along the road (as well as the smell!)

On the Road: Parking is available which connects with the sidewalk exploring the Sulphur Works, one mile north of the park's southwest entrance.

ADA Accessible: Viewable via a paved walkway

Family Friendly: A great and exciting stop along the road with easily accessible thermal features which kids are sure to enjoy.

Boiling mud and steam vents with sulfur smell right on the road. Similar to painted dunes up north. Good introduction to the geothermal effect.
