Description

One of the most beautiful stops along the park highway, Lake Helen is an unparalleled alpine lake with views of Lassen Peak overhead. Visitors are free to explore the lake on foot (stay off the plants!) or simply observe its majesty form the road.

On the Road: A medium-sized parking lot is available on the lake's east end, as well as roadside parking along the road as it runs by the lake

Family Friendly: A very accessible and beautiful stop along the main road through Lassen
