Description
Kin Klesto is Chacoan Great House set at the base of the cliff. Historians estimate that the site was occupied 1100AD to 1150s AD. Although visitors cannot enter the ruin, a path runs around the structure, which features walls several stories high.
Short Walk: Take the Penasco Blanco Trail 0.25 miles to the turnoff for Kin Klesto (marked with a large brown sign). Restrooms are located across the trail from Kin Klesto
Family Friendly: A short trail with an option to take the Pueblo Alto Trail a short distance up into a neat slot canyon makes this gem and area family-friendly.
