Need to Know

The blazes on this trail are fairly inconsistent. Additionally, there are many small reroutes due to storm damage. Both of these issues are very pronounced around Pickett's Pond.

Description

One of the nice things about this loop trail is that there are many places to get on it. All of these places are great and each is by way of a connector blazed white (though the quality of the blazing is fairly inconsistent).

Wherever you get on the trail, there are various inclines, geological features, wooded areas, ruins, and, most notably, meadows. This showcases the many ways that this land has been used over the years and makes this trail a great place for things like birding and leaf-peeping.
