Description

This short loop swings through the southern part of the park, just off of the White Oak Trail. It is heavily wooded, much like the rest of the park. It provides access to the Big Woods Trail and the Basswood Trail.

Beautiful wildflowers can be found here in early spring, though other trails with more access to water may be more prolific.

Flora & Fauna

Wildflowers: columbine, bloodroot, Dutchman’s breeches, hepatica, and the federally endangered Minnesota dwarf trout lily.
