“This trail shoots up from the gravel road between two slopes, opening up toward the top.
”
From the cattle gate on the gravel road, this is the second trail on the left. It meanders up between two slopes. Halfway up it continues through some switchbacks that lead to the top of the climb. Once you reach the top, you'll end up converging onto the AT&T Service Road. Take a peek back from where you came and you'll get a great view of the Lagoon below.
This shorter section is made up of hard buffed trail, and visitors will find that is rarely hoof marked during the rainy season.
Flora & Fauna
Squirrels and bovine mostly. One or two trees do not give much coverage.
