Description

This trail begins at the visitor center and meanders beneath giant trees towering hundreds of feet overhead. Keep an eye out along the trail for various wildlife including banana slugs. As you round the loop through the trees keep an eye out for the albino redwood! This trail is a great for families because it is so wide, flat, and smooth. If you find yourself getting warm on a hot day the shade provided by the giant redwoods makes for a great escape from the heat!

Practicing with new video gear, I tried to convey the scale you can expect from this trail. This video includes The Giant, a famous historical photo landmark, and shows how accessible the path is.
