Description

This singletrack dirt trail begins at the Fox Run Fitness Trail parking lot and ends at Hawk's Rest Trail. The trail weaves through the woods along the hillside and follows Gravois Creek, an intermittent stream.

The trail is steep in some areas and can be slippery when wet. After reaching Gravois Creek, the trail follows the creek upstream. Along the way, the trail is shaded by large mature trees that tower above the trail. You can access the creek from a couple gravel bars just off of the trail, and be sure to look up at the rock outcroppings on the hillside to the left of the trail. Depending on the time of year, there may be wildflowers along the trail as well.

As the trail climbs out of the valley, there are a few large rocks to navigate, and looking back there is a nice view of the creek. The trail continues climbing until it meets Hawk's Rest Trail.
