Overview

This safe, friendly park is a great place for both you and your furry companions to get outside and stretch your legs. There is minimal car traffic on weekdays at this park. Dames Park contains two main football fields and several practice fields along with 2 pavilions and 3 restrooms. The road is exposed with no tree coverage to speak of. Weekends can get busy with footballers.

Need to Know

Dogs must be leashed, the park is patrolled by O'Fallon police and Animal Control. Please pick-up after your dog, it is the law.

Description

There are several parking lots where you can start your tour around the park. There are two loops, the North Loop has an ascent/descent and is approximately .4 miles in length. The South Loop is flat at .6 miles. Combine the two loops to make a figure 8 of approximately 1-1.1 miles.

This is an easy, safe friendly location to workout, run, walk your dog... There are even two playgrounds for kids, so bring the whole family. If hiking isn't enough of a workout, there are also exercise facilities along the trail.
