Description

The CCC Trail starts across the road from the Upper Monument Canyon parking area. It is only about 0.75 miles long and gains ~400 vertical to connect with the Black Ridge Trail. It was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and was named in their honor. This trail allows ambitious hikers to make some big link-ups in the Monument by connecting Monument Canyon Trail to Upper Liberty Cap Trail, or you can gain the Black Ridge Trail and go for any length of out-and-back hike.
