Description

A hike through a bird nesting area to an abandoned mine surrounded by magnificent mountain vistas makes this a great trail. Access to the Eagles Nest Wilderness in the Gore Range is another attraction of this trail.

Old mining road is in outstanding shape. To extent this hike, see my comments on North Rock Creek Primitive Route for a much better parallel trail. — 1h 30m
