Need to Know

Watch for the spiders in their spider webs hanging out in the middle of the trail in the summer. It's not too bad but bad enough it is worth bringing a stick. The benefit is, it gives an indication as to how (not) crowded it is.

Description

This trail/road heads southeast off of Forest Road 286. There is a gate with a "Road Restriction" sign on it (see picture).

It is an access road for power line maintenance and it switches back across under the powerlines as it climbs. It is not very scenic and it just seems to die high up, but there is some climbing and it grants access to a much longer and more scenic forestry road.
