Need to Know

Parking is available in Dunlop Hollow right off the main forest road only a few hundred feet from the start of this trail (and Polly Trail ). There is an under-construction building (restrooms?) in the Dunlop Hollow field.

Description

This trail begins in Dunlop Hollow just past the start of Polly Trail and climbs up a series of relatively steep switchbacks for the first 0.5 mile. From there to the end at the forest West boundary road it is mostly level to rolling. Just past the climbs this trail intersects Polly Trail. The reflective blue circle blazes and the signs at intersections make it easy to follow the right trail. A short way later along the ridge the trail intersects Beech Glen trail. Near the boundary road the trail seems to be less used and grass is thick and narrows the path significantly.
