Overview

From the top of Icehouse the trail is marked only by cairns so can be difficult to follow in snow. Great views, no crowds, interesting boulder field crossings.

Need to Know

Start at the Springs. Much more difficult in winter of course.

Description

Icehouse track climb. Look for a left off the main track at the top. Follow the cairns from then on. There is a long descent crossing a number of boulder fields until you join the Wellington Falls Trail after the largest boulder field (in the middle of it really). Then an easy hike back to the Springs.
