It's a wide, level, and very scenic trail. It's easy to ski or snowshoe in the winter, and it's a very good hike in the off season.
Need to Know
The is lots of parking. A fully serviced chalet is open in the winter and a trail pass is required. There is no fee to hike off season but donations are appreciated.
Description
This trail is often used by skiers and hiker to avoid a significant hill on
Games Trail. It's a relaxing trail through a beautiful birch grove.
Flora & Fauna
When the trail was being made, a large flock of robins took over the dog berry trees to gorge on ripe berries before beginning their southern migration. Also find raspberries, dewberries, currants, squashberries, an amazing array of wildflowers, lush ferns, and more.
