Description
This trail begins at the Miners Castle visitors center and follows a paved pathway a very short distance to an overlook. This first overlook is wheelchair accessible and has coin-operated telescopes and informative displays. You'll have excellent views of Miners Castle and Lake Superior from above. The second overlook is a short ways northeast from the first and offers slightly different angles of the same view. After that the trail enters the woods down a half-flight of stairs that limit accessibility. It meanders through the forest until it becomes an elevated platform shortly before Miners Castle itself. This restricts people from playing around on the dangerous cliffs but still offers awesome views of the rock formation.
