Description

One popular starting point for this trail is at the Miron building; from here the trail is paved. Start out hiking next to the highway, with plenty of wildflowers along your path during the summer months. You’ll approach and overpass, and after a quick turn to the left to enter the trestle bridge. The bridge is lined with benches and viewpoints to take in the views of the water and surrounding shoreline. Continue over the bridge to the Miron Bridge. You can choose to extend your hike past the bridge, as the Friendship Trail continues, or you might decide to take a pit stop in Menasha before turning back.

Flora & Fauna

Lots of wildflowers and butterflies.
