Need to Know

Approximately 2.2 miles from the parking area, there is a narrow trestle bridge crossing with no side rails that can be walked across.

Description

Perched above Weaverville, this seldom used multi-use trail is great for families or those looking to add extra mileage to their Weaver Basin hike. After the short climb from the parking area, the rest of the hike sees little change in elevation as it meanders through oaks and manzanitas.

The land is managed by both US Forest Service and Sierra Pacific Industries.
