Description

The Gazzam Main Trail is the longest trail in the Gazzam Lake Nature Preserve on Bainbridge Island. While not directly visible from the trail, the eponymous Gazzam Lake is easily accessible via a couple of obvious short spurs off the main trail and is well worth a quick stop. From the main trail, there are a few other trails that give you options to extend your hike including the Western Shore Trail, the Knudsen Trail, the Veterane Trail, and the Peters Trail.

Parking is available at both ends of the trail, either in the north at the end of Marshall Road or in the south on Deerpath Lane.

Flora & Fauna

Owls have been known to attack visitors in this area, so be on the lookout.
