Description

Part of the Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest, the Scuppernong Trails consists of 3 loops— the Red Trail (2.3 miles), Orange Trail (4.1 miles), and Green Trail (4.9 miles). The trailhead has ample parking, access to water, a picnic and grill area, and a vault toilet.

The trail itself features a wide walkway with flat and small grade segments; the hills mostly consist of loose rocks. The trail is moderately busy and popular for general hiking, but less busy than the more popular Lapham Peak trails just to the north.

Access to drinking water and big/clean restrooms is a nice feature.
