Description

From the oak savannas along Coulter Pine Trail, the Eagle Peak Trail heads south and climbs steadily through dense chaparral to join the Mitchell Rock Trail just south of Twin Peaks. Continue south, climbing a fine ridge to the summit of Eagle Peak. From the summit, the trail descends through more chaparral to end at Murchio Gap and Meridian Ridge Fire Road.
