Description

This trail by itself isn't anything spectacular. Most people use it as part of a larger loop involving many trails throughout the park. You can find the trailhead by parking at the Paul Lawrence Interpretive Center and heading east. Start down the trail and you'll quickly find a fork; take the right fork to stay on the Walnut Springs Trail. The trail runs parallel to State Park Lane the entire way. The trail ends at the parking lot near the observatory.
