Description

Coming off of the Pine Tree Loop or the Explorer Loop Connector - 337B, the first half of this trail is a climb. After a short hike down a gravel road the fun begins.

The second half starts with a steep-ish descent with a few very large water bars followed by a few steep, punchy climbs on the way up to a steeper downhill.

The downhill is in the shade of a tunnel of rhododendron bushes, full of water bars and roots.

At the end on the left of the trail is Bent Creek. This is a nice place to stop and rest. Once you're done, head to the right, cross the smaller creek and go uphill.
