Description

This is a new trail, so new, it does not appear on any maps yet. However, there is a map of the trail at the northern trailhead off School Mountain Road Trail. The trail is marked with yellow discs and parallels the School Mountain Road Trail for one mile. You can take the trail in either direction making a loop with School Mountain Road Trail. The Hubbard Trail weaves through old stone property walls and is very picturesque. This should be very enjoyable to hike in autumn to see the fall colors. Leaves on the trail have been freshly brushed aside and new markers make the trail easy to follow. At the southern trailhead there are two cement pillars. Much of the trail follows an old overgrown farm road through these pillars.
