The Edna Spaulding Trail is a 0.8 mile loop around a nature trail.

From the parking area, join Live Oak Trail heading north; at the junction with Edna Spaulding Trail, turn left to head northwest. At the fork go right to head north and follow the trail in a counter clockwise direction. You'll reach the highest point of the trail just as it turns back south, about 0.3 miles. After about a half mile the trail will turn north again and shortly reach a junction at 0.8 miles. To return to the parking area, turn right to head back out towards Live Oak Trail; take a right on Live Oak Trail and head south back to the parking lot.

This is a great hike if you're looking for something short with nice views. The trail ascends above the woods and canyons, to a rise that offers nice views of surrounding peaks, canyons, and the Pacific Ocean.
