Description

The Vista Trail is an intermediate/moderate difficulty trail you can hike that is dog friendly. Bikes are not allowed on this trail, which makes it a different and sometimes more enjoyable hiking experience than others in the area.

Starting at the lower lift house for the Elk Camp Gondola, this trail traverses aspen and mixed forests on its ascent of the mountain. After paying your dues in sweat and sore legs, the trail eventually rewards you with a pleasant view near its end at the Elk Camp Restaurant.
