Description

This trail starts at the Slate Canyon parking lot and makes its way up to a meadow where it merges with Slide Canyon Trail #062. It's a tough climb, especially as the trail turns north and makes its way up out of the canyon. For part of this section, you'll be making your way up what is basically a rocky ditch. After this section, the trail gets much better. It's the only major trail in the area, so it's easy to follow.

THE BATHTUB! Did my best to mark it on the map - there is a little campsite (maybe just a fire pit) with big cement boxes. The main trail continues straight through, but the bathtub is just a few steps down the little side path.

Roughly 3 feet of snow up at the spring. Not cold, with a slight breeze. Lots of FUN! 8.4mi — 3h 26m
