Family Friendly Lots of plants, wildflowers, bugs, and rock outcrops make for plenty of exploring for your young adventurer.

Description

To start this trail, look for the trailhead located between Campsites 10 and 12 in Cottonwood Creek Campground. While the mileage on the trail markers seems short by two tenths of a mile, this is still a great trail for families with kids 4 and up.

Along the way, a few moderate rocky obstacles will test your footing, but the view from the top is more than worth it. Enjoy a fantastic canyon landscape draped in dense restored forests.
