Description

This trail starts in a campground surrounded by ponderosa pines and continues around hills and grasslands on the south side of the park to end at another campground. While the trail is short, enjoy excellent wildlife-viewing and birding opportunities.

Flora & Fauna

Mule deer, white-tailed deer, antelope, wild turkey, sharp-tail grouse, wildflowers, and other assorted birds are prevalent in this area.
