Description

While hikers will be faced with some rolling, and at time challenging, hills along this trail, the challenge is well worth effort. Almost all of the trail is under fairly thick tree cover, but areas by the lake do offer some fantastic views that make hiking this trail well worth while. Note that in order to make a full loop, hikers will need to connect from either Jungle Trail and Luke's Loop.

Trail was little wet but not slick. Had to share trail with 6 bikers. We saw blue heron and a turtle. Lots of up and down ravines.

Hike was wetter than we expected, but happy it was overcast given how humid it was. Great challenge for a moderately in shape 50 year old. 5.5mi
