Description

This is a good starter trail for getting used to the rocky areas of the park as well as finding arrow signs. I ended up accidentally linking up with the Summit Trail my first time on this loop, as it can be hard to determine which trail signs are for this trail at times.

Be sure to pick up a brochure at the trailhead to learn about the local critters that make this area so vibrant.

We encountered this rattlesnake on the Interpretive Loop. Don't be fooled – it's not for hugging.
