Description

From the top of High School Hill, a doubletrack trail runs southeast along a ridge. Continue past a fire road on the right that runs downhill down from the ridge and outlets into a residential neighborhood. Past a power line tower, there will be a trail marker on the left hand side of the doubletrack. Note the sign and follow this singletrack trail down the north facing side of the ridge.

The next mile is moderately steep (700ft/mile), rocky, and technical with dense shrubbery on either side. The trail becomes less steep and more buffed out after you pass a few metal structures and a swing hanging on a lone oak tree. The next mile and a half proceeds into a valley and follows a river until the trail terminates at the Reservoir Canyon Trailhead. The trail through the valley is the best section in this trail system but watch for low hanging tree branches.
