Description

This trail branches off the Patapsco Thru Trail Woodstock Section about halfway between the Woodstock and Alberton trailheads. The loop is relatively short and easy, with little elevation change and only a few stretches of rocky or uneven path.

While there is no easy access point for this trail specifically, it makes for a good addition to thru-hikes in the area, leading to one of the best overlooks of the Patapsco River. At the southern end of this trail, hikers can find a rocky edge along the ridgeline that offers an opening in the trees just big enough for a view the Patapsco Valley.
