Description

This section of the Coastal Trail is a treat as this moderate trail meanders along the coastline through impressive forests of Sitka spruce, western hemlock, Douglas-fir, and redwoods. The trail also passes through several prairie bald spots where hikers can enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The wooded sections are lined with berries in season too, so you can enjoy a tasty treat along your hike.

This trail also provides access to the Demartin Primitive Campground which has ten backcountry campsite with toilets.
