Overview

Enter Cobblestone Ranch from Parker Road one mile north of Franktown. After crossing the bridge, there is a small gravel lot to park. Head across the street to pick up the Cherry Creek Trail. After approximately 0.3 miles, there is a sign for the Hidden Mesa Trail. From there, it is a climb to the top of the mesa which you can do in either direction by following the small signs.

Description

This hike is a loop that starts at the entrance of Cobblestone Ranch at the gravel parking lot. The route starts out on the Cherry Creek Trail, and then turns west on to the Hidden Mesa Trail after approximately 0.3 miles. There is a decent climb that begins gradually, but ends with a steeper section and lots of loose rocks towards the top. If you don't want to do the steep section, you can take Pleasant Pass. No matter which trail you take up, you'll then reach the Rim Loop Trail around the mesa, which is relatively flat but does cross some rocky sections.

Parking can also be found at the Hidden Mesa Open Space farther down Parker Road before Franktown, or there is a trailhead off of Pleasant View Drive that eliminates the climb to the top of the mesa.

This is an easy trail with one section that climbs up to the mesa. The top of the mesa is rocky and uneven in spots. 6.8mi — 2h 01m
