There are two pullouts along Binder Lake Road that allow direct access to the Blue Loop. The other way of accessing the Blue Loop is by starting at the main trailhead and first hiking the Green Loop and splitting off halfway through. The main trailhead is at the old bait shop in Binder Lake Park. There is an information board at the start of the trail the provides all trail info.

The Blue Loop is slightly tougher than the Green Loop, consisting of a couple rocky climbs. Old trail sections that have been rerouted are blocked by tree limbs and the loop is blazed in blue markers.
