Highway 66 west of Elbow Falls and the Powderface Creek Trail is closed to vehicles annually between December 1 and May 14. A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.

NOTE: This is a ROUTE that is unmaintained by Alberta Parks.

This is a steep and fun option to reach the Prairie Mountain summit or create a loop via Prairie Creek Trail and Prairie Mountain Trail.
