From the parking area, the trail travels up Cross Place Road, then turns left (off the road). It travels for a short distance before coming out to the kiosk. From the kiosk, the trail turns left and travels to the dedication monument. At this junction, the trail stays to the left and follows an old road. It turns right (off the old road), and crosses over Cole's Brook. The trail continues until it reaches the Minnich-Bryan House Site.
