Description

From the Boynton Canyon Trail, turn north onto a narrower, more overgrown, rugged trail. The trail zigzags through the dense foliage and trees and winds its way up to the entrance to Subway Cave. It's a 20-foot Class 3 scramble up a sloping, slick rock ramp into the popular and well-photographed cave.
