The nearest parking is at the north end of the Peavine Trail or the east end of the Iron King Trail.

The trail leaves the Iron King Trail about 1 mile from the Y junction with Peavine Trail. The start is about 100 feet east of the steel plate bridge.

The trail winds its way along Elisabeth Creek with frequent rocky granite sections. There is not the same elevation change as the Rattler Trail or Dells Bonanza Trail. After a mile and a half, the trail comes out to the Yabba Dabba View trail in the older Storm Trails area. A short side trip to the Yabba Dabba Viewpoint is worth the effort.

Options for the return include the Rattler/Candy/Bonanza trails or out to the Peavine on the older Storm Trails.
