Description

This trail is an offshoot of Egypt Lake Trail that can be accessed by taking a left at the fork at the south end of Greater Pharaoh Peak. You'll hike down to Scarab Lake (a popular stop for lunch for backpacker's staying at the Egypt Lake campground), then begin to climb back up all the way to Mummy Lake, including a nice section with a beautiful red talus field.
