While this trail is more intended for snowmobilers, foot travel is permitted along much of this route.
Description
This section of
Corridor 19 appears to start from Hurricane Mountain Road and runs northward. It travels a small stretch, through private property, before re-entering the White Mountain National Forest. The trail utilizes the Forest Road and coincides with part of the
Weeks Brook Trail. It turns off
Weeks Brook Trail, just before reaching the trailhead, and travels northeasterly. It mostly parallels Peaked Hill Road, then turns right and left (onto the road). Follow Peaked Hill Road all the way to the trailhead (at the end), then follow
Province Brook Trail.
When you reach the trail split, stay right. Here, the trail travels through the forest to Langdon Brook Road. It descends down Langdon Brook Road, then turns left (onto County Road). Here, the trail travels through a small section of private property, before re-entering the White Mountain National Forest. At the top of Toad Hill Road, the trail turns left (onto Forest Road 244A). It climbs, steeply, up to Mountain Pond and Slippery Brook. It travels over a few old logging roads, before coming down to Slippery Brook Road. Here, the trail turns right and follows Slippery Brook Road. The trail coincides with the
Slippery Brook Trail for a ways, then turns right (off
Slippery Brook Trail).
Here, the trail descends along an abandoned trail, that was formerly known as Bradley
Brook Trail. The trail continues until it reaches Route 113, just across from Deer Hill Road (Forest Road 9).
