Park at Duck Town Park lot where there is a circular lot layout, with swings and playground near the entrance. This puts you in the middle of the boardwalk, head out to the right or left for about a two-mile out and back hike in either direction. Nice views along the Currituck Sound. Some sections are entirely over the water, others along the shoreline, and some with side detours into stores and other parking lots. Good accessibility for wheelchairs and strollers. Kayak launch ramp straight out from parking lot.
