Overview

A simple, pretty hike with a boardwalk path and an easy, marked trail. The lookout point at the end of the Boardwalk Trail is a great place to see the sunset, and the Maritime Forest Trail also has an excellent lookout.

Description

There is a 0.3-mile boardwalk path that leads to the Sound. Near the beginning of the Boardwalk Trail, the Maritime Forest Trail begins. The park is extremely easy to navigate during the day, with large markers often on the path. The Maritime Forest Trail is 0.75 miles one way, and to get to the end and back took me about 40 minutes. Then I followed the Boardwalk Trail to its end to enjoy another view.
