Description

This trail starts from the trailhead, off the Deerfield Road Spur. It follows the handicap accessible road up to Strickland Branch. The trail continues (beyond the gate) and climbs along the edge of the ridge. The trail passes by one of the Estelle Mines Tunnels and turns left. It climbs back to the top of the ridge, then turns left (onto another dirt road). It follows this (for a short distance), then veers slightly left (off the dirt road). From here, the trail descends down to a series of man-made ponds. Here, the trail travels along the boundary of the Crockford - Pigeon Mountain property until it arrives back at the trailhead.
