Description

Starting from Madison Falls Trail parking lot, head south on the paved road. At 0.7 miles take the Bypass Trail to skirt around the river where it washed out the road and Elwha Campground. Once back on the road, continue pass the turn off to Whiskey Bend and follow the road as it climbs to its termination at the Olympic Hot Springs Trail. Interesting viewpoints along the way is the former Glines Canyon Dam spillway at approximately 3.5 miles and Observation Point at approximately 6.0 miles.
