One of the main greenways of Montpellier. This pleasant hike allows you to leave the city for nature rapidly, following the Lez River all along. If you turn around to face North here and there, you can see the distant mountains. The Pic Saint Loup is easy to see starting mid hike.

This itinerary does not cross any road. At 4.1km/2.5mi, a bridge allows you to cross the river, if you want to join the Lez Left Bank Riverside Promenade.

Fishing is possible.

Several river birds can be seen (egrets, herons) as well as turtles.
